Let's Dig In.

Throughout history, moments of upheaval have often given birth to powerful change. LGBTQI+ Pride Month commemorates one such time—the riot at Stonewall in 1970. Every year since 1970, people have continued to gather all over the world (traditionally in June) to march with pride. This GEM™ highlights the history of Pride Month, explains the importance of celebrating Pride, and presents best practices for companies to improve workplaces for the LGBTQI+ community. By completing this GEM, you will be able to:

  • Determine why we celebrate Pride.

  • Break down the importance of Celebrating Pride.

  • Illustrate how the LGBTQI+ community has evolved since the middle of the 20th Century.

  • Present best practices for companies to focus on to improve workplaces for the LGBTQI+ community.

  • Add an exclusive credential to LinkedIn and other platforms.
